Museum of the World Ocean has made publications since 1991. Different publishing houses were museum’s partners in different periods. In recent times, the museum cooperates with Paulsen, Terra Baltika, Gangut,, Zhivyom and other organizations. Museum catalogues, guide-books, research works, conference minutes, children’s books and brochures, leaflets and calendars are the main museum products. They are sold in a souvenir shop and disseminated at various exhibitions, conferences and other events.

Сatalog shipmodels
	What is boat model making? True models can be described with a word creative work and they leave significant mark in culture. Actually boat model making is a combination of science, art and technology. One of the oldest Russian museum, the Central Naval Museum, that celebrated 300th anniversary in 2009 started with collection of boat models founded by Peter I. boat models are a piece of art themselves and perfectly add to exhibitions of maritime museums worldwide. The catalogue is devoted to the fleet of Museum of the World Ocean that consists of afloat memorable ships, traditional boats, an archeological finding The Ship of the XIX Century and 250 boat models. The book is recommended for boat model makers, shipwrights, museum workers, postgraduates, students and audience interested in the history of fleet.

Stanislaus Cauer’s Path
	There is a corner on the museum embankment that makes you feel comfortable and cosy. It is called The Old Port. It is here where Putti fountain by Stanislaus Cauer has found its new place. Museum of the World Ocean invites residents and guests of Kaliningrad to a trip Stanislaus Cauer’s Path that starts on the territory of The Old Port and tells about the sculptor’s life and work. We hope that the route presented on the pages will be interesting for everyone who is fond of culture and art of our city as well as its centuries-old history.

Lifelong Journey
	A journey of The Bogatyry in time and space started in Saint-Petersburg in 1871 and finished in Moscow in 1898. Fifty years ago a copy of this picture was put the vessel Vityaz and had passed thousands of nautical miles and visited all the continents. Today the Vityaz became a museum where visitors from all corners of Russia and abroad come. The Bogatyry continues travelling…

Vityaz. The Pages of History
	The photo album is devoted to the research vessel Vityaz. Hundreds of unique photographs and archival documents tell about her history, her thirty years of oceanographic research, crew’s and scientists’ life. There is a separate part about Museum of the World Ocean in Kaliningrad which main exhibit is the Vityaz.

Famous Ships. For the centenary of Evgeniy Voyshvillo’s Birthday
	It is a catalogue of graphic works by E. Voyshvillo, member of Artists’ Union of the USSR. These are the works from the collections of Museum of the World Ocean. The book is aimed at museum workers, shipwrights, postgraduates and students as well as for all who is interested in the history of fleet.

A Ship. The Four Seasons
	The publication is devoted to A Ship. The Four Seasons, the exhibition by Andrew Tron. It was a significant event in the museum’s life. The artist’s skill, his detailed knowledge of the history and scrupulous depiction of participants of marine events and environment made him very famous both in Russia and abroad. Works by Andrew Tron combine romance of sea voyages and reality of naval service.

Icebreaker Krasin. The Pages of History
	The history of the icebreaker Krasin is complex and diverse. It reflects the main stages of the history of our state in the XX-XXI centuries: the revolution, the civil war, the triumphal and tragic exploration of the Arctic, WWII, the post-war active research, the Perestroika and a new time of revival. Despite all the storms and fights, severe cold of the Arctic and human hearts the Krasin still remains in the ranks. Telling about the Krasin we choose the main pages of her history. They tell about the past, show the present and lead to the future.

The shores of Sambia. A guide-book
	Have you come to Svetlogorsk or Zelenogradsk (or any other place on the Baltic shore) for a resort, do you lie in the sun and swim in the Baltic Sea? And you think that it is all you will be glad about on your holiday? You’re wrong! Hardly you step aside of the familiar route when you see a lot of mysteries, adventures or even ghosts if you are brave enough to walk in the dark. The guide-book tells about the main attractions and tourist routes of the Sambian seashore.

Fish of the Atlantic
	The album Fish of the Atlantic is a sequel for the series including Poisonous and Dangerous Fish (1963), Marketable Fish of the East Tropical Atlantic (1966) and Fruits of the Atlantic (1972). There are 4 000 species of fish in the Atlantic Ocean. In this album you will find the most wide-spread 200 species that are usually caught by professional and amateur fishermen. Every species is described in relation of its biology and distribution. In relation to fishing you will read about its methods and nutrition significance as well as about processing methods approved in Russia. Poisonous and dangerous fish take a special place. Description depends on information volume available. This book is for sure of ichthyologists’ interest as well as aimed at specialists for marketable fishing and food industry, readers interested in oceanic topics and tourists fond of sport fishing.

Svyatogor
	The icebreaker Krasin, branch of Museum of the World Ocean, is moored in Saint-Petersburg, at Lieutenant Schmidt Embankment. The icebreaker Krasin is a symbolic vessel in the history of the Arctic exploration and today we tell you about one of the important moments in the ship’s life. Only a few people know that during the Civil War in 1918-1920, the Svyatogor (in 1927 she got a new name Krasin) with the homeport in Archangelsk was passed to England by the Provisional Government and from 1920 she sailed under the British flag. When the steamer Solovey Budimirovich needed help in the ice, the Soviet Government had to apply to Great Britain to lease the ship. After all a compromise settlement was made: the Svyatogor goes to the Kara Sea with the Norwegian crew under command of Otto Sverdrup, famous Arctic explorer. The author of the book and a direct participant of the expedition tell about how the expedition was prepared and implemented, it was a unique one for its time and the whole world was watching it. In addition to that a reader will get to know everyday life of residents of a Russian colony on Novaya Zemlya and fortunes of some passengers of the Solovey Budimirovich in the turning point in the national history.
